Viewing the Placard Summary

Users can automatically generate mail release placards using the PostalOne! system. Placard creation is available for both domestic and international postage statements. Placards include the mail class, processing category, processing type, mail release date, and start-the-clock date. Postage statements with a single owner also include customer name and permit number, transaction ID, and postage statement ID. All placards include acceptance unit name, finance number, and contact information at the bottom.  Placards can be created during finalization of a postage statement or after a postage statement has been finalized. The three ways to print placards are:

The Placard Summary Report lists placards that have been previously printed, and allows users to reprint or update the placards as necessary.

To view the Placard Summary:

  1. Click Reports on the left menu bar.

  2. If necessary, click the appropriate finance unit and acceptance site. The page opens and displays a list of available reports.

  3. Click Summary. The Placard Search page opens.

  4. Enter any placard criteria, then click Search. Search options include:

  5. To reprint or update a placard, click a Placard ID. A separate window opens and displays the Reprint tab.

  6. To download the report, click Download (for an Excel spreadsheet version), then click Save and navigate to the location on your computer to which you want to save the file. Click Save. In the Download Complete box, click Close.

  7. To print the report, click the Printable View link. The report will open in a second window in .pdf (Portable Document Format) format. Click Open to display the report. Select the browser Print button to print the file, then click OK in your printer dialog box.

  8. If the search results returned more placards than can display on just one page, click First Page (for the first page), Last Page (for the final page available), or a page number to view a specific page of results.

To return to the main PostalOne! system, click a Reports at the top of the page.
